hello, world.
I’ve updated the template - i ended up using a pre-existing template called Drunkey Love. It was too frustrating to build a new one. Although, it was starting to look nice. Maybe I’ll use it for my actual portfolio website? Perhaps.

Me Emo

Grrr… I hate it when I become that which I despise.

I’m embracing my Emo playlist atm.
Stars Hide Fire
Early Kisschassy
Alkaline Trio
Taking Back Sunday
My Chemical Romance

Humph.

Google Me

I’m a littled boreded out so I googled myself, as you do, and was surprised that I am ranked #2, #3, #4, #5 and #7 on the first page of results!

Yay. #1 is some actress.

Free Propaganda is Time Consuming.

I’ve had a problem the last few months because there has been such an impressive array of choice when it comes to published (advertising) media! Just walking through the city streets and some stores will end with me leaving with armfuls of free propaganda. Ranging from streetpress newspapers, magazines, catalogues, flyers, postcards and now DVDs (like Pedestrian and Rouser)!

In the last month or so I’ve collected, read and disposed of too many titles to mention. Below is a photo of what I have to read in front of me still. Why is all this choice and information (possibly even inspiration) such a problem? Well, because I’m so busy collecting them, I have no time to read them and process them. It’s such a waste - I just look at the pretty pictures and forget about them. My attention span is decreasing and my memory - forget that. I only consume images. Also, I throw out many, but I also horde the remainder which causes storage issues.

To top that off, I buy a few mags every now and then and even attempt to read the odd book or three. I can never finish these, even though I buy them with the best intentions of reading them cover to cover. If I finally do read anything, it’s long over due and isn’t up-to-date anymore.

Today I thouroughly discovered the video podcast. It’s an amzing new world of information, talent, and cheesy entertainment. And everything is FREE! Check out these titles to destroy your life too:
1. Ask a Ninja: For the meaning of life by a white guy with broken English in a ninja suit against a badly lit bluescreen.
2. Channel Frederator: Talented; sometimes mind blowingly talented animated shorts - especially if you are into new media or are a BDM student.
3. Tiki Bar TV: Highlighting the importance of responsible drinking!

Out of Office

Going to Bris-vegas for a week. Back on the 7th of January.

Will try to update if I ever get bored of the beautiful non-rioting beaches, airconditioned shops, food and general fun.

Happy New Year!

The End

How satisfying to start a post with “The End”.

Well that’s what this is.
After many years mulling over whether to start a new blog, I’ve bit the bullet and have created Temporary-Squat. A pit stop before I get my new website and blog up and running. That’s where all my posts will be made from here forth.

I will restore the archives soon, but from “virgogal”, adios.
