   Oh yeah, or what about say, 14.4 Mbps data on your 3G phone? (Though admittedly we only get up to 1.8 Mbps in Australia so far… )

   I ditched 56k in Feb 2000 when optus cable rolled into my street. Been a loving user since then! We laughed (3gb.. ok maybe not), we cried (netstats died!) and we celebrated (36gb/month now, sufficient).

   Any regular 3g phone can download at a yokle-inducing 300kbps anyhow. Those new fancy hsdpa ones at 1.8mbps. 56k users, people have faster internet than you in their pants! Their PANTS

   Gosh, I wonder what they’re using it for. Sickos with pants-internet

   That’s right! Only sickos would have uber fast connections and download copious amounts of data into the palms of their hands.

   Actually, lately I’ve been finding my frustrating 56k liberating.
   I have too much speed at the office, spending all my time on the net. If I had that at home, I’d be at it again. It’s better everything loads slower when at home.
   I just don’t attempt it at all. Relax.
